What if the test line is faint?

Any visible shade of color in the Test line (T) indicates a positive result, as intensity varies with antibody concentration.

Can this test be used to confirm HAV immunity?

Yes – a positive IgG result (without IgM) suggests immunity from past infection or vaccination.

What is the difference between HAV IgG and IgM detection?

 IgG indicates past exposure or immunity (from infection or vaccination), while IgM indicates acute or recent HAV infection.

How should frozen specimens be handled?

Thaw completely, mix well, and bring to room temperature before testing. Do not freeze and thaw repeatedly.

Is there a shelf life for opened buffer?

Buffer should not be used beyond 6 months after opening the vial.
